Integration - Linking your location to the Back End

1. Please log into FIIT. The user you are logged into FIIT with will receive the token in the form of an email. 

2. *Skip this step unless you are opening a brand new location*
You must have a location that is an exact match to the name you have in Nōwn, case sensitive. If you do not have a location create one and follow the on screen instructions to ensure you select meal plans and set service periods. You must create a POS station, the IP address and port's don't have to be real fields but you must have a POS.

To do this click on the calculator icon on the far right hand side, it is the second icon on the list. Follow the on screen instructions and once again make sure you input an IP address and port number.

3. Next, head to the Nōwn Fiit integration tile found on the FIIT home page. 

4. Select the "Add Nōwn Location" button.

5. Select the location you want to link. For integration type select "Nōwn POS" and then press save.

6. Insert the Nōwn location name. Please ensure that this location name matches exactly to the location name in your Nōwn POS account.

7. Select the available service periods for this particular location. 

8. Select the meal plans you want to be available at this location.

9. If necessary, please ensure that you select the meal equivalency that you will be offering at this location. This is an optional step as offering meal equivalency is completely at your discretion. 

10. Copy the token by selecting the "Copy" button in the bottom right hand corner.

11. Open Nōwn and go "Integrations" which is found on the list of menu options once you select the Setup icon.  Scroll to the bottom, and paste the authentication code under the heading that says "Access Token" then press "Link to FIIT". 

Once it is linked it will look like the image below. 

12. When you go to do a transaction and press "Pay Now" you can select Meal Cards. This means you can accept meal units and DCB as payment options.
