Creating Roles

The reason for creating roles is because you want different members of staff to have different permissions and accesses. Creating roles lets you customize exactly what they can do on the POS. Some examples of different roles are: cashiers, business office, admin, IT, and director of food services.

Step 1: Go to the homepage of FIIT and click on the Settings tile

Step 2: Once there scroll down and click on Role Access to expand the field.

Step 3: Select "+Add Role" if you wish to create a new role or select an existing row if you wish to edit it. A list of toggles will appear on the right side, simply go through the list and turn ON/OFF the functionality you want or don't want each role to have.
