Transactions (Nōwn POS) - How to Charge a Meal Card

Unlike FIIT, in Nōwn you are required to scan the meal card at the end of the transaction as opposed to at the beginning of it.

• In order to accept meal plans as tenders you need to select the Meal Card payment option when you get to the payment screen
• 
• You will then me required to scan the patron's app or meal card. 
• A pop up will come up and a charge will be deducted from the patron's meal plan as per their meal plan priorities. Just like FIIT, meal equivalency will need to be applied manually. This means you will need to expand the folder of the meal plan with meal units and click on the green arrow for that field to populate.

• You may also do a partial charge by clicking on the box with the number in it and typing in the amount you want to charge.
