Complete hardware set up from scratch

Below is a full guide on how to set up all the FIIT hardware once you are going live.
Please note that you must use the actual FIIT app when attempting to use the hardware. It will not work if you try and activate the hardware by doing transactions on the browser through the Lucova website. 


Part 1: Hardware Audit

The following components are required per station, please ensure you have all the hardware required before you begin your install:

  • Surface Pro
  • Cash Drawer & Surface Pro Stand (ensure you have the cash drawer keys and cables that connect from it to the printer)
  • Barcode Scanner 
  • Lucova Bluetooth USB
  • Two Ethernet Cables
  • Receipt Printer: Star Micronics TSP654ii Ethernet Webprint
  • Surface Pro Ethernet Adapter 
  • USB Hub (suggested option: Aiibe 6 Ports Super High Speed USB 3.0 Hub Splitter + 24W Power Adapter + USB 3.0 Cable)
  • A credit card terminal
